Everything Happens for a Reason
A letter to the ones who feel lost — the ones questioning if the pain was ever worth it. This is for the moments that broke you, shaped you, and quietly prepared you for more than you ever imagined. A reminder that even in the dark, God is writing something beautiful. And maybe... this is the part of the story where everything starts to make sense.

If you had the ability to look into your future — even just one day of it — would you?
What if you didn’t like what you saw?
Would you change it?
I had never really thought about it before.
But now that I am... I find myself filled with more questions.
What if I had known the pain hidden in uncertainty?
What if I had known my parents never believed in me?
What if I had known he didn’t love me — only wanted to hurt me?
What if I had known how much fear comes with standing out from the crowd?
What if I had known that my closest friends would turn their backs on me?
What if I had known that going back to school meant being bullied again?
And the list goes on.
So… would I change any of it?
The answer is no.
Because if I hadn’t made those choices in the past,
I wouldn’t have discovered what God created me to do.
If I hadn’t walked through the darkness,
I would never have heard the voice of God —
Never known what His presence felt like when I needed it most.
If I hadn’t been isolated from those so-called friends,
I would have never met the one who stood by me —
A friend who showed me what loyalty really means.
If I hadn’t crossed the boundary of my parents’ doubt,
I wouldn’t be sitting here, telling you this story.
I wouldn’t have found the dreams or the fire in my soul that I now carry.
If I had avoided the pain of uncertainty,
If I had stayed silent, safe, and small…
I wouldn’t be me.
What I’ve come to realize is this:
All the painful parts of life — the twists, the turns, the “why me” moments —
They give us stories.
And stories change people.
They move people.
They connect us.
And most of all, they reveal God’s fingerprints —
Even in the messy, broken parts.
“Your story is the key that can unlock someone else’s prison.” — Unknown
Your story matters.
Because it was written by a God who loves you more than you’ll ever understand.
No pain is wasted.
There is always a purpose.
So instead of saying “Why me?”, say “Try me.”
Because every hardship holds either a lesson or a blessing.
The hard things can also be blessings in disguise.
It’s hard to see that when your world feels like it's crashing down.
Maybe it’s losing control of something you thought you had a grip on.
Maybe it’s the silence after being ghosted.
Or the tears that no one sees.
But deep down…
Maybe something in your soul whispered,
“This is happening for a reason.”
You just didn’t know what that reason was — yet.
And that’s okay.
The worst thing we can do when we're hurting
is to jump into something new just to fill the emptiness.
Sometimes we just need to sit.
Sit with the pain.
Sit with the discomfort.
Sit with the lesson.
“Sometimes when you're in a dark place you think you’ve been buried, but actually you’ve been planted.” — Christine Caine
This is your chance to understand yourself more deeply.
To recognize your worth.
To see your value.
To learn what you want — and what you never want again.
I know it sounds easier said than done.
But trust me — you’ll get there.
Trust the process.
Maybe this heartbreak, this moment, this loss —
Maybe it's your turning point.
The one you didn’t know you needed.
Let life teach you.
Let it transform you.
Let it show you that even the worst things can lead to the best things.
There is always something to gain —
Even from the things that break you.
“The wound is the place where the light enters you.” — Rumi
Learn something about yourself.
Learn something about people.
Learn something about life.
And never forget:
Some people are in your life for a reason.
Some are only there for a season.
Let go.
Grow.
Move on with grace.
When Life Feels Too Heavy: What Helped Me Most
When everything feels too much —
Don’t rush.
Don’t run.
Not fix it. Not numb it.
Just be still.
Feel the pain.
Let it teach you something.
But don’t stay in it.
You’re meant to move through it — not live there.
Sit with it. Feel it. Don’t fight the pain — listen to what it’s trying to show you.
If God sent you something to destroy you, it would have.
But it hasn’t. You’re still here. Still breathing. Still standing — even if it’s shaky.
That means there’s something in this moment meant to grow you.
Sometimes the breaking is the becoming. Let it bring truth to the surface — strength, clarity, purpose.Write things down. Even if it doesn’t make sense. Even if it’s messy. It helps. I’ve found that journaling clears the fog in your head and makes space for truth. You don’t need a fancy method — just honesty. Just you.
If you feel empty or tired of thinking, try reading something that makes you feel seen. Books have been my quiet place when the world felt loud.
A few that have helped me:

Final words
And above all — don’t rush into something new just to fill the void. Let it be empty for a moment. Let it teach you something. Let this season be quiet and still. Trust the process, even if it doesn’t make sense right now. One day you’ll look back and realize this moment grew something strong in you. And that even this, was not wasted.
Because here’s what I believe:
That even in the dark,
There is beauty.
There is love.
And yes — there is a reason.
It’s okay to feel lost.
Maybe you had everything once — happiness, dreams, hope.
And now it’s gone.
But hear me:
That doesn’t mean you’re gone.
That doesn’t mean it's the end.
The outcome can still be beautiful.
Not today maybe — but one day.
It will be.
So feel lost.
Feel hurt.
But never forget:
Everything happens for a reason.
Think about this moment — right now.
You chose to read this blog post.
You didn’t have to.
But you did.
And now these words are part of your story.
Maybe that was the reason all along.
