Listen, life is too short to waste time on some-time people.
You’ve got to stop letting people come in and out of your life as they please.
That on-and-off stuff? That needs to be shut down. Period.
You’ve got to stop dealing with people who are hard to deal with.
You’ve got to stop putting people first who have nothing but put you last.
If they can’t be consistent with you, maybe it’s time for them to be non-existent to you.
If they can’t make up their mind on who they want to be in your life, maybe it’s time you make up their mind for them.
They need to understand that coming back isn’t always an option.
Stop being committed to people who ain’t committed to you.
Stop being the go-to person for people you can’t even go to.
Stop saving room in your life for people who ain’t consistent.
This is your life—not theirs.
You don’t have to live your life on their terms.
You don’t have to accept what you don’t want to accept.
You don’t have to give someone the opportunity to let you down again.
You don’t have to give someone another chance to take advantage of your forgiveness.
You don’t have to give someone another shot at breaking your heart.
You do know another chance doesn’t always have to exist, right?
God will allow you to go through places you don’t understand—just to bring you to the place where He needs you to be.
So don’t let this season take your life.
You can win this fight.
If it wasn’t for my darkest moments, I would have never found the strength to shine my light.
There’s a purpose greater than your pain.
There’s no growth without rain.
Sometimes it takes the hardest storms to birth our greatest change.
There’s nothing wrong with moving on from being treated wrong.
There’s nothing wrong with removing the pain that’s stealing your peace.
There’s nothing wrong with becoming permanently unavailable to toxic people.
You don’t have to waste your life on people who just want to waste your time.
There comes a point when you’ve got to stop seeing the good in the person—and start seeing the truth in the person.
There comes a point when you’ve got to stop believing words—and start trusting actions.
When they show you who they are, believe them.
Stop second-guessing your common sense.
Stop asking if it’s right when you know it isn’t real.
Stop accepting what you know you shouldn’t expect.
In this life, you get what you tolerate.
Understand this:
They will never respect you if they can always count on using you.
They will never respect you if they can always enter your life—no matter how many times they’ve exited it.
And I promise you, if you keep accepting it, they’re going to keep giving it.
So make today the day you stop being committed to people who ain’t consistent.
Make today the day you stop crossing oceans for people who wouldn’t even step in a puddle for you.
Stop falling in love with their potential—and start seeing the reality.
And the reality is:
They don’t care about you.
If they only care for you when they want something from you...
You don’t matter if you only matter when they need something.
And I get it.
I know it’s easier said than done.
But you have to let go of what’s hurting you—even if it hurts to let go.
You have to break free from what’s breaking you.
Time is something you can’t get back or get more of.
So stop giving your time to people who just want to waste it.
And I’ll leave you with this:
Never get too attached to anyone unless they feel the same way about you.
Because one-sided expectations can, and will, eventually destroy you.
It all starts with you.
