There’s a space I’ve been sitting in lately. A strange in-between.

Not the person I once was, and not yet the person I want to become.
Not at the beginning, and certainly not at the end.

It’s the space between.

I’m not a seed buried in the soil, and I’m not yet a flower in full bloom. I’m the green sprout—growing, stretching, changing. Still fragile. Still becoming.

I know who I used to be. I can see glimpses of who I’m meant to grow into. But I’m not fully there. Not yet. Parts of my past still linger, like raindrops that occasionally find my skin. They remind me of what I’m leaving behind—but haven’t fully released.

This space between is uncomfortable.
It’s hard. It’s dark. It’s confusing and exhausting.

But this is the place where we decide:
Do we go back to what’s familiar?
Or do we keep walking toward who we truly want to become?

It’s in this space that healing begins.
You start to see what no longer fits—what no longer works for you, even if you've been pretending it still does. And if you try to ignore it, life has a way of giving you another wake-up call. Loudly.

So what do you do when you’re in the space between?

Here’s what I’ve done—and what’s helped me:

  • I sit.

  • I listen.

  • I take notes.

I try to understand, to reflect. And eventually, I begin to realize: this is transformation. I’m baking, slowly, into who I am meant to be. It takes heat. It takes time.

But here’s the truth:
You cannot stay where you are.
There’s no comfort here anymore.

Staying stuck in the middle is not safety—it’s self-betrayal.
Because your calling won’t stay quiet. It’ll whisper, then shout, then scream until you listen.

And if you don’t… then what? Are you okay staying exactly where you are?
Are you okay letting your dreams pass you by?

Often, we grip so tightly to what we think is supposed to happen, and when it’s supposed to happen, that we create resistance without realizing it. So release. Let go.

When you're in the space between, your only job is to sit, listen, and take notes.
Release what no longer serves you. Release the habits, the fears, the people-pleasing, the stories that keep you small.

Because every time you release, you create more space—
More space to rise.
More space to step into your next level.
More space to finally become her.
